Being Sick

Foods Mom gave us when we were sick:
  • Room temperature Ginger Ale
  • Saltine crackers
  • Chicken soup
  • Poached eggs on toast
Mom insisted:
  • No talking on the phone!
  • Wash your hands!
  • Cover your mouth!
  • Put your slippers on!
  • Nap in your own bed (awwwww...not on the couch? But there's no TV in there...).
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Sore throat? Gargle with salt water.
