Juice

My dad used to make sure our refrigerator was stocked with either tomato juice or V-8 juice. My favorite was the V-8. Back then juice came in large cans. Dad used to make triangular holes, one on either side of the can--one large and one small--and then cover it with tin foil.

Another thing he used to do was pour the juice from a can of sliced pineapple into a cup for my brother or I to drink. That was a treat!
